![]() Open the 'user remote scripts' folder and create a folder in there called E-Mu XBoard 25 (don't think the folder name matters). Then in the text window on the right click on 'Show preferences folder', the folder should pop up. To use it launch live, click help and 'get support'. Here's a quick one I put together, only the knobs are mapped (the top row). You must have dropped the txt file in the wrong folder, because there are a bunch of identical 'user remote script' folders all over the place and only one works. I got it to instant map on the first attempt. its a decent controller but i have never been able to use a script to "auto map" it to lives devices. What else do I have to change? I'm assuming (probably wrongfully ) that it's 0-15. I don't know what the MIDI device name is for the xboard, and I'm not entirely sure what cc's the knobs send, so I was wondering if any xboard owners could let me know. If someone could help me out with this I'd really appreciate it, I don't have any experience with this sorta stuff. I'll be heading to a music shop this weekend to give it a test run, and I wanted to set up a user script to test it out when I get there. ![]() I found out about user remote scripts and I was wondering if it would be possible to set one up for the xboard. The one thing that's stopping me from buying it is that it doesn't automap to device parameters in Live. I've been looking for a new controller and I've settled for the E-Mu xboard 25.
